Stella Mary's College of Education

The Stella Mary's Group of Institution, managed by David Raja Singh is an Educational & Charitable trust, South Chathiram. It was established in 1940 with an objective to develop and foster excellence in the field of education by organizing and encouraging competitions among different high schools, College of Education and Teacher Training Institute.

The Stella Mary's Group of Institution is ideally located on the Madurai - Quilon Main Road. The Institution has established excellent infrastructure including modern Computer Lab, well equipped library, in addition to LCD Projector and Video Conference facility.

Stella Mary's B.Ed., College was founded in the year 2006 with 100 students. It is approved by NCTE and affiliated by TNTEU. Stella Mary's Teacher Training institute for women was founded in the year 2005 with 50 students. Stella Mary's High School was founded in the year 1988 with 360 students. Rajasingh Middle School was founded in the year 1940 with 260 students and Ebanesarammal free hostel for school children was established in the recent past with 140 students.

The Stella Mary's Group of Institution strives to be an equitable, effective and interactive learning community that makes a difference in education and human development through excellence in teaching, scholarship and service.

We have two schools, Raja Singh middle school and Stella Mary's High School. Middle school have classes from standard 1 to 8. High school have classes from standard 6 to 10. Both parents and teachers are very happy that a good school has came up nearby.
